Listened to the first 2 books. It’s an interesting premise with a few likeable characters, but suffers from a complete lack of foundation. It’s a bit hard for a military veteran to just accept the complete destruction of the US military and the abandonment of the homeland without A LOT more information. Far too vague and written more like a script for a series than a book series. At $14.99 a pop, I’m stopping at book two.
