I have to say that this was a much better book than the first one. It was emotional, exciting, and sucked me in immediately.

Slight spoilers

In here we again have Blue whose life has been unbelievably hard and is a psychic and Levi, the goodest man who has ever been good when one day Blue’s father, whom he has never met, shows up with an offer of a lot of money for spending a weekend in a haunted manor.

It might have been longer but it’s hard to do a search on an audiobook to confirm.

Anyways, like always there were bad ghosts and good ghosts and even charlatans that also were invited to stay. Things of course get ugly but it all works out in the end

During the course of all this you can now see that Blue has accepted being in love with Levi and it was great.

My only knock on this was Joel’s narration. By now if you have read my reviews, you know that Joel is one of my favorite narrators so this may be a a shock but the way that Blue and Levi were narrated made it hard to tell who was who. I could not tell the difference. The other characters were done well so I was surprised to have this happen.
