I loved this story, and I ended up binging the first two books very quickly. This one had me engrossed from the start. I love the characters And the plot it set up, but then suddenly near the end It’s like everything just took a different direction.

Right as the story was reaching the climax of multiple story threads that I was incredibly interested in, It started setting up this crossover event.
In order to do that it started forcing these sudden changes. It completely took me out of the story and I ended up losing interest right as it reached the point I was most looking forward to.

I won’t say you shouldn’t read the book because it’s very entertaining, just know that if you think a crossover event showing up out of nowhere for a bunch of other series would bother you, then I wouldn’t. However if you are a fan of the author’s other books or you can look past it I think this book is amazing and really builds up on the previous book.
