It was hard to fall in love with any of the characters, not a whole lot of development for them either. It did keep you guessing bc the story line would go in a direction out of no where.
But the thing that got me most was how damn repetitive it all was. If you introduce a character in book one I don’t need a repeat every time you meet them again explaining how and why AND their back story again. We know, we read the book. You can pretty much skip to book 4 and understand most of what’s going on.
It has potential but didn’t really hit the mark.
