The story did seem to be put together over a long time, as it was not quite consistent at times. Also, lack of editing. “He fell into a dreamless sleep and then he awoke from a nightmare”. Which is it? And is there a need to exclaim “holy shit!” ALL the time?
I like Litrpg, but this was a bit over the top all the time. I did finish it, but the second half was more of a slog (through lots of blood and gore). Fun at times but in general one of the less enjoyable books.
