Montana wilderness which I still miss, former special forces guys using horse back to track the missing and criminals; and a kindred spirit in fiercely independent, RVing on her own, working in a male dominanted business Pippa… not much not to love personally in this story! Riveting plot when a FBI investigation points in Pippa’s direction after a bullseye gets painted on her, with plenty of danger and suspense as protective Sully must use his skills to protect the woman he’s finally admitted is under his skin. As the twists and mysteries are unveiled, plenty of life changing events are taking place keeping the storyline moving at a terrific pace, intriguing me as to what’s to come in future books. The narration is amazing with Connor Crais, whom I always enjoy listening to, and Ada Sinclair breathing more life into it from the pages. This was my first look in the series and I am definitely going to catch up on the previous books.
