Another review mentions sex with a minor. Yes, there are a few scenes with a sexual experience but not intercourse with a minor… definitely would not fly in present day. However this story takes place in the past and in a rural Midwest town and without giving away too much info it wasn’t a violent or unwanted experience.
Overall a great story with some tear jerking moments!! You will find yourself really rooting for the two main characters.
