There was a Hell of a lot of an eighteen year old’s angsty bickering in this book as Mafia Princess Sienna is forced to marry her worst nightmare.. a Made Man. And Cruz isn’t just one of them.. he’s El Diablo 2.0 – one of the most cold-hearted and ruthless of the men who make up the violent world she wants absolutely no part of. Sienna wanted to escape the life of corrupt men doing what they like in a cruel lifestyle of enemies, bloodshed, betrayals and husbands who cheat on their wives. But, as soon as Cruz sees Sienna at a party, nothing will stop him claiming what his cold, dead heart wants.. not even the kidnapping of his beloved sister on that same eventful night. Revenge runs through Cruz’s veins as he seeks vengeance on anyone involved in his sister’s kidnapping.. and he’ll torture before he kills for the secrets they will spill. Sienna is forced into a marriage she wants no part of and she makes that very clear as she spews her hate-filled sentiments for months at her long-suffering patient new husband. Worth a credit? Yes it’s addictive, the chaos is easily visualized and it’s exciting too. And Ada and James did a great job with the high octane feels in this suspenseful, enemies-lovers slow-burn and their friction-filled dual point of view narration didn’t disappoint.
