As others have said, there’s very little original about this. The biggest issue is that the people have the character depth of marionettes, followed by the world failing to give any realistic semblance of what might really happen in the kind of apocalypse scenario presented. Yes, verisimilitude is still important in game lit. The system within the story is uninspired as well – it doesn’t actively contribute much of interest either. There was enough pressure in the story to make me curious enough to finish it, but that might have just been the sink cost fallacy speaking.

The only standout is the excellent performances and production quality.
