When in the mood for an emotional listen, I know Rick R Reed will fill my need! This book is packed full of many feelings and each one touched my heart. Randy is the exactly who he is supposed to be. Family man, married with a beautiful son. But is it really who he is? Knowing for most of his life that he is interested in men has left him unhappy and wanting. His wife, Violet, is made aware of the problem and he sets out to find a man to make him happy. Bumping into John at a bar the first night was coincidental. Randy was not sure how to be, what to do and left the uncomfortable situation. He then met John again through mutual friends, and their attraction is undeniable. While their relationship is new and moving along, there are many obstacles that Randy needs to get through as well as John accepting Randy’s past. Plus Violet is on the edges of his life and always will be. Rick pens this gem with all the feels. The feelings of insecurity and attraction. There is betrayal and jealousy. And we can’t forget chemistry and passion. It’s chock full of it all, and it made me feel. I honestly could not stop listening to this fantastic story.

David Allen Vargo is the narrator and he is one of the reasons I could not put this down. He has a talent for creating all those emotions and giving my heart a workout. Each voice selectively chosen for the character, he creates the best of personality for each. And I love his inner monologues. This is an audio that should not be missed.
