Tragic beginning for Lucy ends in HEA. I loved this book. Beau and Lucy are perfect together. I adore the family of characters in this series. Lucy is strong, independent and a survivor of abuse. She is guarded with people, but openly living with animals. Her relationship with Beau is of trepidation and caution. I am so glad he was persistent. The narrators were well suited for the characters and did a remarkable job with the voices.
