I was very disappointed by this book. The author seems very inexperienced yet projects his opinions through his characters. All the men are either fat losers or strong and admirable. The women are either helpless or hot. The main character is unrealistically infallible.
The timeline doesn’t seem realistic; come on, the military would not need to steal food from civilians after just 3 days.
Westfield’s grammar is terrible and his writing is flat, lacking a range of vocabulary and descriptors that would put someone in the moment.
We won’t be reading anything else by Ryan Westfield.
