Went in blind, never heard of the series before. I’ve listened to several narrations by Jeff Hays and always found him to be great reader.
The story is decent enough, yet hard to believe. The main character is barely likable. The world is very interesting and the side stories / bigger picture are very intriguing, and much more interesting than the storyline we are forced to follow.
I have not decided whether I will read book 2 yet. If it has nothing to do with Zero, i will probably give it a go.
