True crime about heinous acts committed by mild mannered John List back in the early 1970’s. The story was well written although it took me awhile to get into it, and didn’t really heat up for me until getting into part two.

This was quite an emotionally complex, highly intelligent man whose mind went completely haywire, and we will probably never completely understand what happened and why he did it.

Narrator was somewhat monotone throughout, becoming more animated in the latter part of the book. Overall, however, I thought it was quite a good listen for the story is indeed fascinating! ☺️
