The Narration is great, the world, and the building is pretty amazing. The idea and concept of a player being a goblin is pretty cool and at the time it came out, a novel idea.

The MC is pretty bad at first, but gradually improves throughout the story. I can understand a bit at first as he is mostly in denial and treating even the AIs like slaves to do his bidding and demanding respect like some terrible manager on a power trip. I even felt a bit empathetic towards his guildies who betrayed him lol thinking if my boss treated me as such I wouldn’t stand for it.

Fortunately his character gradually improves, he earns respect the proper way, and starts to treat his people, well like people and not some resource or robot to boss around as he pleases.

The MC does need to improve his combat skills and strategy, he acts like a noob too many times considering he is supposed to have been high level before his goblinization. I have to question this when his go to strat seems to be run in the middle of a group and let them pound his shield until his mana runs out without using range and strat and his OP skills. Mostly relying on luck to win.

Anyway, it is not my favorite LITRPG bit different enough with enough positives to recommend a read. I do like where the story is going towards the end…. besides maybe the completely unrealistic way the lawyer plans to shift blame to him….which could never happen. I love a whole evil corporation stick…but that’s just too unbelievable.
