A fun, chaotic and masterfully unexpected joy to listen to. One of the first books in a long while that made me cackle out loud while teasing further mysteries in an immersive and immense universe. The narrator (Jeff Hays) really breaths life into the titular Carl. Combined with soundbooth’s attention to detail and added sound effects it’s incredibly easy to get sucked in.
