like clear articulate descriptions of fundamental principles and techniques that made him famous.

and yet this book was largely vague not well articulated and almost completely absent of clear techniques.

by and large the tone of the writing is profoundly pompous and not especially informative. one of the four parts of his as he called it ” system of profound knowledge ” is neither at all profound nor at all informative that is doesn’t convey much knowledge.

different areas should stay the f*** out of psychology because it’s clear from those who know something about it that people like Deming no virtually nothing about.

To make sure it wasn’t just My overall negative impression of the text I relistened to the system of profound knowledge chapter.

Nothing in it is profoundly ( except perhaps to those who are mostly ignorant of busines, statistics, science & general knowledge.

That chapter & this book were vague and pretty useless. it was his goal to basically Force you or drive you towards pain for his company’s consultation it had very little that would actually educate anyone not living in the 1950s.

ecology couldn’t fill assemble while he knows if you take electrical phrases is clear he doesn’t understand much more than zero psychology. someone trained in Madison medical physics and quality controller assurance feature stick in his own lane because anybody who knows a damn thing about psychology will see how clueless &: outdated his ideas & assumptions about psychology are.

I expected that somebody who I’ve seen you something about science would apply the scientific method to areas for which they know little and make assumptions rather than looking at empirical data as you would expect a scientist to do.

I was extremely disappointed if I heard he was such a genius and book cast and entirely different light other than his double talk and actually describing fun ulas literally full formulas in the book proves that while he may be brilliant he was at the time of it’s writing, a terrible author, overconfidence and pompous from former successes, terrible teacher.

fortunately I didn’t have to pay to read this book if I had I would be asking for a refund.
