It’s an interesting concept. I thought the idea of a private mission without regulations that govern the quality and scope of a space crew and craft was a good one. However, the execution didn’t work for me.
The misogyny was simmering just below the surface of pretty one dimensional female characters who were described repeatedly only for the male gaze. It felt like the characters got rewritten a few times and were not always consistent.
This book would’ve been really cool with complaining in moderation and more consistent/dimensional character development.
