He didn’t make the MC a complete beta male but he did take the every man fantasy of sleeping with the virgin and turned it into a sex scene from a 30 year married couple going through the motion to get it over with. This was extremely disappointing. Every few minutes you get a recap of the entire book. No real sex no real action but crap ton of inner monologue and quotes. Why in the hell would you write a thinking pause. “I Mean.” Why not put some likes and uum’s while you are at it? I am happy he is not like Eric Valls books a lot of others were the MC is constantly having to clear his throat or rub the back of his neck or run his fingers through his hair do to lack of confidence do anything manly or sexual. Makes think writers are so insecure they can’t handle writing about a guy that’s more of a man than they with ever be. This book has a lot of potential and I got all of them so let’s hope I’m right.
