I love this series, the stories contain all the best elements of a cozy mystery, a well written whodunit, and a bit of romance included for good measure. The characters are not just well developed, the majority are likeable, and in Justice there are a few who are easy to dislike. The situations Caitlyn, Renegade, Colt, and Sam find themselves in will keep you guessing who they are looking for in their respective cases. Unlike the first three books in this series, this story took my emotions and put them through the metaphorical wringer. The way Joyce adds individual nuances to each of the characters really makes listening to these stories a pleasure.
If you have read or listened to the first three books in this series this is a must read/listen, if you are new to the Tin Star series, do yourself a favor and start with Renegade, book 1, so that you will have all the background that sets the stage for this book.
