Outstanding Narration! Mediocre Story.

I got this book all because of who the narrator is. And like everything else he does not fail.

The story itself I am struggling to get through. It’s just boring! And not a single likable character in sight. Perhaps the later books are better, but the first in this series feels like a 10th graders creative writing assignment.
