The first book in this series has a very interesting and unique storyline. Can’t recommend that book highly enough. This book continues the storyline, which is still quite interesting, but it takes on a side line that contributes nothing to the main plot. This side plot is just pointless, graphic, and quite juvenile sex. It’s not erotic, not comic, not anything really except a waste of ink/audio.

The only reason I finished listening to this book is that I was assured by other listeners, via the Sound Booth Theater Discord channel, that this side plot is not prevalent in the rest of the series.
