This book is so…grimy. But in the best way. There is zero sugar coating in this story. It’s going to tell it like it is, and that is that. Everything in it also had a paradoxical element to it. Two opposing emotions at once, seeing things in opposing ways. This isn’t a sexy book, this is a book that makes you think and question and simultaneously touches your heart. The Miriam bomb shell did what it was supposed to do, it absolutely blew my mind. It shook me to my core. Mark and Jimmy went on a damn journey. A journey of discovery and anguish and forgiveness and growth. It brought them together, an outcome they both deserved. Jimmy’s guardian angel got the job done.

David Allan Vargo did a fantastic job with his narration. His voice lent to the pure grittiness of it. He was the perfect voice for this story.
