This audiobook was beautifully brought to life by David Allen Vargo with the inclusion of music and sounds from the ’80s. Mr. Reed’s brillant writing allowed me to understand the feelings and emotions of what a gay man who was married and a a father experienced by acknowledging his sexual orientation. The time setting of the book was during the AIDs crisis, but the fears, stigmas and prejudice still apply today. I found this book emotionally charged and educational.
