I’ve seen this series listed as one of the stories to check out on several lit RPG sites, but put it off. I finally picked it up and have blazed through the two books, and am now eagerly awaiting the next release.
The characters are quirky and entertaining, the concept of the hive, and the evolution/leveling system is interesting. The pacing of the story is good, and the plot is interesting, although the Dina scope seems to still be pretty far off.
Jeff and Annie deliver fantastic performances. Their range of voices and accents give the characters uniqueness and depth, while they also impart emotions in their characters while speaking.
I cANT wait to hear more.
