Another fantastic book by Freya Barker was in my ears this past weekend. I cannot get enough of her writing. It’s smart, romantic, suspenseful and has mature characters, which is a big plus for me! This is the third book in the High Mountain Trackers series and has two people I couldn’t wait to get to know better. Pippa and Sully are back! Not together though, their night of passion was hot! Now even though they cannot stop thinking about each other, they are apart. That is until Sully overhears a conversation. Now keeping Pippa safe is his priority, but she tends to be in the wrong place at the wrong time! Will he be able to do it? Fun seeing Sully become the emotional man we knew him to be, enjoy seeing all the trackers, and the banter between Pippa and Nella! I look forward to more of this series! Bring it on Freya!
Ada Sinclair and Connor Crais continue their fabulous narration of this series. These two truly complement each other and bring out each character to their full potential. Sinclair creates the best Pippa! Independent, yet vulnerable, she finds the essence of her. Crais knows how to bring out the alpha male with a teddy bear heart. Sully is all that and more. Wonderful narration, one not to be missed!
