This is a paranormal by definition, but so lighthearted and fun that the characters are very relatable. In fact, if the author didn’t actually say that Elva was an elf and Art was a demi-god, the banter, romance and story could have been about anyone in my circle of friends and family. There wasn’t a werewolf, bear or vampire in sight, which is where my mind goes when I read paranormal as the genre. I was happy to broaden my horizons reading this type of paranormal, I will be looking to read this sub-genre again.

I listened to the audio-book and the narrator was fantastic. Since the story is funny and quirky, some narrators tend to go over the top, but Rebecca Winder did a superlative job.

I really enjoyed this fast paced story, it was cute, and while it may be a bit rushed in the romance department, it was definitely a fun read. Looking forward to reading more from Sharon Buchbinder in the future.
