I listen to audio books on multiple platforms and to my memory have never given a 1 star review. The writing is a lazy, disjointed dumpster fire of a mess. Ideas/plans/attempts at character development are introduced but with zero follow through. The use of constant mediocre sex scenes and innuendo to distract and fill the gapping void in the “story” actually got old.
The absolute worst part was my favorite performer, Joel Leslie, doing the grandmother’s broken English accent. I cringed every time. It was almost a hate crime. At multiple levels that had to be ok’d and that is frightening.
