Recommendation: buy it.

The author is surprisingly smart.

The audiobook team clearly enjoy doing this project.

The narrative is great.

Our main character doesn’t beat everyone with his epic gaming skills but more by thinking outside the box which it makes every book interesting as you want to know “how his he gonna survive this time” usually all the information is given before so you get to enjoy it like a mystery novel trying to figure it out before the reveal.

Theyre many plots going on at the same time so each book has consistent progress in finishing a plot.

Some people said that the AI is a bit generic as this book attempts to break free from the LiteRPG tropes and at first the AI looks like another trope but the AI itself does go through some character progression to have its own quirky personality.

Only downside I would say is that because the author is a master architect when building stories some times they’re “downtime” when it’s all about setting up the narrative/steaks for the book which is a bit slow but the pay off is always always worth it.

Another downside is the author is clearly smart in terms of building story but they’re some plots which he isn’t consistent in his narrative structure usually its the small plots. I assume it’s the editors cutting things out for a more streamlined book. This is something you might not notice if you’re not a butt like me.
