I found Lydia Michaels this year and have really enjoyed her books/audiobooks. I almost thought this would be a DNF. I rarely choose not to finish a book. I was so disappointed, but I just can’t get into dominant females overcoming dominant males. It creates an anxiety in me that I can’t push through. Just as I thought I’d stop the play, it took a turn. I couldn’t quit listening. I am actually fascinated how this romance played out. Two dominants did find a way to work. I loved it.
Lucinda Gainey is a great narrator. She does well narrating both male and female voices. This audiobook rolled like a movie in my head.
