I always enjoy books set in the Awaken Online world, and this one didn’t disappoint! My 4 star rating is simply because there is a LOT to process and keep straight in this book. All of the characters who’s stories have been built up in the spin off books come together, so if you haven’t read them, go do that first or you will be completely lost! I could follow along, but it did take active concentration to keep up with the people, places and plot turns. I kept “rewinding” 5 minutes (audiobook) or starting chapters over because I’d realize I’d missed something important and was lost.
I’m looking forward to the next installment!
