I liked the characters.. I didn’t love them
I liked the magic.. but not my favorite
the narration was.. adequate
the story couldn’t be called bad.. just slightly cliche
if you’re looking for an unobtrusive time filler where you won’t regret missing a bit if you lose focus, here’s the book for you! like I said, it wasn’t bad, just nothing special. (sorry Mr. Hodges.. :/ )
