While Soundbooth Theatre’s audio is exemplary as always, their knack for finding great stories to use it on seems to have abandoned them here. The writing, at least as much as I could power through, is reminiscent of middle schoolers who think they can be the next great author if they’re just “funny” enough. The main character, honest to god, used the “oh totally… not!” unironically, to let you know the quality to expect.
