- Where does Stone Cold Bastards rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
- It is hands down the best story involving gargoyles and grotesques since the Hunchback of Notre Dame!
- What was one of the most memorable moments of Stone Cold Bastards?
- Any moment involving the fairies was pure comedy gold. I could listen to their parts all day!
- What does Jeff Hays bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
- Jeff Hays did a marvelous job of bringing the characters to life. The wide variety of voices he was able to produce made almost every character feel unique. That’s saying something because this story has a metric butt ton of characters.
- If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
- I can’t think of a good tag line off the top of my head, but if I put in enough time it would probably involve a stoner pun.
- Any additional comments?
- I received a free copy of this audio book in exchange for an honest review. Also, the only reason why I bumped the story down to four stars is because I thought the way an important characters soul was unpossessed was a cop out by the author that pulled me out of the story. If there had been a previous reference to how the coin he or she was forced to swallow worked prior to that scene, then I think it wouldn’t have had a negative affect on me.
