Well written, interesting characters, and hard to hit pause on. I deducted some points for sticking some modern political commentary in where it doesn’t really belong… but it’s brief and easy to overlook. Otherwise, fantastic story. I found myself hoping that they would give him some pants. it’s left on a cliffhanger, and the hook is firmly set, and reeling me in.
I can’t say enough about Jeff Hayes and soundbooth theater. I think this is the third book series I have started with them… and it is always excellent. it’s well worth your money anytime of the year, but if you catch it on sale, it is doubly worth it. Stop debating and go ahead and get it.
