I really like this narrator. He also does “He Who Fights With Monsters”. You can forget he’s reading a book and really loose yourself in the work. That said the story gets a little too predictably hard for the characters. It’s ALWAYS the same routine. Things seems too easy, things suddenly become insurmountable, by a stroke of luck and the skin of their teeth the characters eek out a victory. I would prefer a little more variety. An easy victory once in a while. High drama gets redundant after awhile. Like being in combat for a month straight. It looses its edge and the reader, speaking for myself gets numb to it.
