I really love Ryan’s other series.
I’m not sure it’s just the wrong voice-over artist to match the tone of this book, or if it’s just the story itself.
I felt it was trying to make too many jokes for jokes sake. The voiceover artist is very talented, but his style does not match that of a “young” crab. just the wrong fit in my mind.
The book was a struggle to get through. I rate things on how hard it is to put away the audiobook. Noobtown caused me to have a couple sleepless nights because I wouldn’t stop listening to it.
Sorry Ryan, I have been loving your work so far. This one just missed the mark for me as an audiobook.
