I adore the Noobtown series this is by no means remotely close to the enjoyment I get from that series.
I don’t want to say it’s not good.
It is middling of the road and never brought me into its depths. I can get lost in a good story.
I don’t think I had unrealistic expectations. I was however able to stop, start, and not start for extended periods of time in between and had no desire to get through this book other than to hurry up and get it finished so I could start something else. I wouldn’t recommend this to someone starting out in the genre, I wouldn’t recommend this for someone deep into. I’d only recommend it as a time kill with no strings attached.
