This is the second book I have ever returned and that is saying a lot with some of the trash I have collected. This story just breaks so many rules of writing to the point I know students that can write better stories. The issues with this book are immersion breaking anime references, characters ‘smarter’ than makes since with the random facts they know, and a peanut gallery breaking the already slow story for no real purpose.
TL:DR Avoid this book if you are after the the rule of middle school cool and hate standard books
