The math doesn’t add up.. Crew member is paranoid schizophrenia but everyone treats him seriously even humoring his delusional rants that pirates sabotaged the kitchen… Makes no sense. A person hallucinating is flying the ship and could kill everyone. and they are not booted into a forced psych evaluation so they can get help
The math of trading doesn’t add up. salary isn’t on scale with the economics described.
It’s just lazily written junk. half the book is characters listing off orders for what’s in their omelet. It takes the author 20min to describe their breakfast order
and it happens once an hour throughout the books.
author is getting lazy and rambling the story out unfocused then at the final accounting they just give resources and $ to their character to set the stor6 for the next title. It’s poor strategy and Makes the books flawed and lazy.
