Loved the story with a few detractors. The most distracting aspect being the repetitive use of lines. I lost track of how many times “the shit hits the fan” or “give them a bloody nose”
The not so low key American exceptionalism that finds its way into Human exceptionalism is undeniable.
In the end, very predictable with few surprises.
