I have listened through this twice now, I believe. As I’m at work, pausing and playing throughout the day, I was endlessly engrossed.
This narrator is unmatched for books like this, and narrates other similar books. He is able to effortlessly (and accurately!) depict a demon’s wretched voice and Mary’s angelic voice within the same paragraph and to contrast them vividly. The vocal range and ability is incredible – inspiring, actually.
The book itself is terrifying for a sinner out of Grace to endure. There are several places in the text where I could feel St. Louis de Montfort’s gaze on me, begging tearfully and ordering sternly for me to go to Confession. It’s wonderful and exhaustingly interesting. A necessity for all aspiring Catholics.
