I actually did enjoy this book. I was amazed at how well the narrator created so many different voices. Not trying to be sexist but I don’t typically enjoy books with a male narrator because the female and children characters become annoying. Sorry, not wanting to offend anyone. However, I actually looked up the narrator on this one just to see if it was one person. The character from Colorado sounded goofy but otherwise great work.
My biggest complaint, and maybe the series addresses it later, but you only get hints about the past with the original novel. Why is Alphonse a soldier and is the author saying that the Von Helsing family has been fighting Dracula longer than Bram Stoker’s novel?
Otherwise, great book. Love Vlad and will probably check out the next book.
