I’ve been reading CN cultivation novels for couple years now, and I know the good and the bad in them. This series (red until book 9 now) has all the positives of a cultivation novel with none of the bad, while also having the “voice” of western style of writing, majority of people prefer.
Other then personal nikpicks I don’t have any negative opinions about the story, characters etc.
