This book has an interesting notion of a fairly good sci-fi story. But as usual, there is way too much description as to what is surrounding these characters, the furniture, the age of the furniture, how old it looks, the color on the walls, where the mirrors are positioned.

Just ridiculous! Get on with the story.

My biggest problem being, the endless amount of non-sense befalling these men, fighting these aliens, that more closely resemble the alien from John Carpenter “the Thing”, than anything else Hollywood has ever come up with.

The violence is just unrelenting! And the amount of gore, and the gratuitous blood loss.

Is beyond gross!

The ass beating these characters take, at the hands of immoral, greedy morally corrupt institutions, not informing these characters of the incredible amounts of danger, and the horrendous amount of death awaiting them?

Is unrelenting! And just doesn’t stop!

Right up until the last 18-mins of the story, is there any sense of peace. That’s 8+ hours of unending insanity.

One of the characters commits doctor assisted suicide.
This story is so ridiculous?

I was ready to join him!
