This was a continuation of the Deamon Hunter series. each book can be read/listened to as a standalone but the couples in previous books do show up. Each book is the next piece of time in the world so there’s no time overlap between books. Some of the actions by the h are quite unbelievable for the time. *Spoiler alert* I get that the women hunters wear pants and in Victorian England that is quite scandalous. But the h strips down naked yo swim in front of her fiance. it makes very little sense.
