There are some really cool ideas in this series. Ultimately I wound it a slong… I just could get into it. I felt the same ways about the first book but less so. I really didn’t care about the new secondary MC. The whole book felt like it was show casing a backstory of guest star on a tv sitcom, that no one asked for. And the End… WTF nice way to spoil the next book. It’s very easy to “guess” what happened to “Vince” the old man.
SoundBooth did a great job but I can’t recommend this book or series. It’s to dated and predictable.
