there are ten hours I’ll never get back. there were so many ways this book could have been a five star rating. he could have presented the book from the point of view of the protagonist and answered the questions above. instead he droned on and on with filler with no real story or character development. I had no real concern for any of the characters, most I couldn’t tell one from the other and Tricia, I down right disliked for the decisions she made in regard of her son. I did morn the deaths of the dogs and one cat. they were not integral to the story. we didn’t even meet them but I morned because I love animals.
I waded through this entire book hoping it would get better but even in the end the what, why and where were not answered and the author pointed this out as if it was okay.
the narrator was just marginal. he got his voices mixed up or he was not into the story. he seemed lost.
I can’t recommend this book.
