In the preface, when reading a quote from Ronald Reagan, the narrator did such a hammy impression that I chuckled. But when the narrator goes on to do SILLY impersonations whenever text is in quotes, I felt sick to my stomach. He does this whether the would-be speaker’s voice is famous or not. Every German sounds like Colonel Klink. Every Russian sounds like Boris or Natasha from The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show?

This is an important book. Why is it being read as if it were a joke. How did anyone think the accents were a good idea?!?!

I’m not sure I’ll make it through. Too painful to hear something so important read with such silliness.
