This is a good book if you’re unfamiliar with the ideas of healing from intense grief and for when you want something that’ll help you feel like you’re not crazy for feeling and acting how you do. I’ve had to deal with death since I was a child and, as such, I’ve had to work hard with a therapist and beyond to learn to live with it as a part of life. Still, I’ve been blindsided over the past year after losing 3 loved ones and 4 friends. This book helped give me comfort at a time when my life felt out of control. No, it’s not a super deep exploration, but it is useful. I highly suggest giving it a try. The narration is good and appropriate for the material. too.
